A lot happened in September! My little sister got married so we were in Pittsburgh for over a week to help. I went to New Jersey for a much needed girls’ weekend, we caught up with friends over dinner and I got to help shoot some really awesome weddings!

I definitely got a lot accomplished in September, but like always there’s still more to do. October is going to be really busy with every weekend filled. So there’s not going to be a whole lot of getting ahead, but more just keeping up with everything.

• Business Goals: My main business goal is my website. I need to update the images, but more importantly I’m working on the SEO with a company. I’m really excited to finally feel like my SEO is where it needs to be, but it’s going to take a couple of months and then of course maintenance. So I’m hoping to take a big bite out of it in October.
• Blogging: I didn’t blog exactly on schedule in September, but I’m really trying to be more disciplined and not wait until the last minute to put together the post.
• Image Organization: I’m caught up on my weddings, yay! But October is going to be busy so like I said earlier, I just want to try and keep up with all the images.
• Staying Active: Ugh, I didn’t do anything this past month! I’d really like to just try and do something twice a week in October.
• Fun Goals: I guess I need to accept that it’s officially Fall so I really want to embrace it in October and do all kinds of Fall things! I want to go apple picking, carve a pumpkin, eat a caramel apple, and we’re going to see The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze.

On a side note, I’m really excited because today is the 5 year anniversary of when I shot my first wedding! Happy 5 year anniversary to Erica + Shannon and thank you for believing in me enough to ask me to shoot your wedding! I have certainly learned a lot and am so thankful to all my couples that have made my dream come true!
