November marked the end of the 2015 wedding season! Images have been edited and delivered… yay!!! So while it was a very busy month that flew on by, it was also a very productive month. We visited Ben’s family on Thanksgiving and then my family the day after for “Thanksmas” at my Aunt & Uncle’s. We went on a “sleigh ride” so my Aunt could pick out her Christmas tree and Sophie of course refused to take a picture for me. I also attempted to make my Mom’s beef vegetable soup for the first time and it definitely was not the same (the fact that I even attempted to make the soup was a huge deal for me) and I finally got my caramel apple made by my wonderful husband.

For December I’m planning on going on a little break from the blog. I’ll still be here working, but I’ve decided to take time to enjoy the holidays, get some rest and plan ahead for Cassady K Photography in 2016! To here’s what I plan on working on over the next month:

• Business Goals:
  • I want to finish up with the initial SEO work.
  • I’m taking a course to help organize the business and me so that 2016 is efficient, productive and I can still have a life.
  • I have so many new images that I want to update on the website.
  • Spoiling my clients – I love Christmas and I love giving gifts!
• Personal Goals:
  • Finish my Christmas shopping… I’m getting close and I think I might actually be done early this year! Filling out the Christmas cards will probably put me behind though…. I never know what to write.
  • My Health – I still haven’t been exercising, so I’m trying to walk twice a week. I haven’t really mentioned this before, but I also have some health issues that I’m hoping to get resolved or at least find some relief. (Turns out carrying a lot of camera gear and working at a computer all day isn’t the best for your body.)
• Fun Goals:
  • Christmas cookies! I’m so excited to start baking! I love making and icing my sugar cookies, plus I have a couple other cookie recipes I want to try this year!
  • Christmas Movies! I love decorating and watching Christmas movies and specials. Our apartment is already decorated, but I plan on watching lots of movies and specials. I’ve already watched Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, It’s A Wonderful Life (My absolute favorite Christmas movie!) the original Grinch, Rockefeller Tree Lighting Ceremony, the CMA Christmas special, and all the Christmas episodes from Friends.
  • I can’t wait to spend time with family and friends over the holidays and give them their gifts! My little sister and her boyfriend are coming to visit right before Christmas so we can take them into NYC to see all the decorations, plus I get to see my lifelong best friend at the end of the month who’s a missionary in France and is visiting!
