It’s that time of year where the albums I designed for my 2015 couples are being delivered : ) I like to have all the albums shipped to me first so that I can review them and package them all pretty – and also so that I can see the images printed out! There’s just something special about having images actually printed so you can flip through them instead of them sitting on a backup hard drive in your desk drawer.
I recently received Jennifer + Mike’s wedding album and really love how the design turned out.
I’ve found that sometimes the older generations are surprised by the design of today’s wedding albums because it doesn’t look like their wedding albums where each page only had one picture. While I do cherish my grandparents’ and parent’s wedding albums, I love that “today’s design” allows me to actually to tell the story of a wedding day and include a lot of pictures.
I love how this spread with the antique fire truck turned out!
While I designed the initial layout of the album, Jennifer + Mike were able to switch any of the images or layout so that they could really make the album their own.
This last image was one of my favorites from their wedding day : )
