You may have heard me talk about Spark in the past, it’s a group of Christian women photographers that get together together weekly to talk about our faith and photography. I’ve been a part of it for a couple of years and have such great friendships because of it 🙂 Plus I’ve learned so much about photography and running a small business from these women. In the fall and spring we get together to do a headshot swap. It’s a great time for us all to actually get in front of the camera and get updated headshots. Plus we just have fun together!
This was the first time that we actually did multiple locations for the Spark Fall portrait session. We kind of took over a Starbucks so that we could get shots of each other working in Starbucks. While a lot of us have offices at home, let’s be honest, it’s great to get out of the office and go to a coffee shop.
Amy Rizzuto is one of the ladies who started Spark and is one of the three leaders.
When I say we took over Starbucks I mean, both inside and outside. hahaha It was a beautiful day and so we used the outside of the building too. You might remember Mekina, (I’ve second shot for her a bunch) she’s also one of the leaders of Spark. I love this girl! Hanging out, working together, whatever we do we always have fun together!
Our second stop was for this great big giant white brick wall. It was my favorite location!
The Mums matched Amy’s dress and her branding perfectly!
Cassi is another one of the ladies who started Spark and one of the leaders. I’m secretly jealous that her and her husband work together. I’d love to work with Ben all day 🙂
Just standing out in the middle of the street 🙂
When we went to Central Park of Morris County a lot of the ladies’ husbands and families joined us so we could family pictures for Christmas cards. I was a little bummed that Benny couldn’t make it.
Future photographer?!?
I was so excited that Cinnamon’s dog, Guinness, came for some pictures!
Mekina was smart and brought a bunch of outfits for different looks at each location.
Isn’t Mekina just so pretty!
I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of Amy’s whole family together, but look how cute her husband and daughter are together!
I’ll be sharing some of my new headshots soon as I start to update my social media profile pictures. I have such talented friends, that there are so many favorites!
