Moving to New York was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. But one of the best things that has come out it (besides living with my wonderful husband) is meeting so many other creatives! Creatives that want to work together and help each other grow their businesses rather than compete. So I’m excited to show you some of my friend Kate’s work. She is in the process of starting her event planning company: Kate & Company.
I joined Kate before Christmas to capture some of her work that she did for Cru NYC’s Christmas Party with a Purpose. You’re going to love her style and all the gold details!
So jealous of her calligraphy!
Kate is great with all the little details from the little pom pom stirrers to that awesome bar marquee sign.
Such a cute and delicious idea to have a hot chocolate bar!
The event was held at The Church of the Holy Apostles in New York City. Not only is it an active church, but it has a great space for events.
Kate’s husband, Alex, came and helped Kate set up too. Our poor husbands get sucked into our businesses : )
One last shot of Kate in action setting up the photo booth.
