Oh these two… my sister and future brother-in-law. Oh who am I kidding, he’s already my brother! He makes fun of my like a brother, takes care of my like a brother and is with my family more than I am. Even Sophie likes him more than me! Well you may remember the little engagement session that we did when they got engaged at the beach, but let’s be honest that wasn’t really their style… they’re a little bit country. So even though Maddy wore her camo shorts for their last shoot, we made sure they had a proper engagement session…. even though Steve “hates” taking pictures.
It’s a good thing they wore their boots, I however wore flip flops…. not so smart.
This is one of the many things I love about Pennsylvania, you can be in one area and have so many different looks.
Love this!
I love how tall the trees look in this picture.
Remember how I said I wore flip flops? Well I tried to go through a little creek instead of around the pond for these next pictures and instead ended up with muddy feet and almost falling thanks to a frog that scared me. I went around the pond in the end.
We brought a blanket just in case we found a place for some great pictures….
… and oh man did we find the perfect place!
Ahhhhhhh!!!!
Oh Maddy you are just gorgeous! And I love the detail of the ring!
This is my favorite picture! I see a print in the future 🙂
I’m sure this probably felt awkward for them, but I just love this picture!
Look at those legs! She’s a runner and ran a marathon this past Spring.
So I saw all these flowers and was like oh how awesome would some pictures in there be? And Maddy was just like we have boots on, let’s go! I’m so glad they were willing because these are just amazing!
Dang you two are good looking!
I love the little paw print on the front of Steve’s boots.
They laugh a lot, that’s definitely important in a marriage 🙂
So Steve does not like to take pictures and he makes sure that we all know it. But for someone who doesn’t like to take pictures, he sure was pretty confident about his modeling skills. I know your secret now Steven James, there will be no more of this nonsense about you not taking pictures.
So we stayed in one park the whole time and it somehow had everything we wanted… even an old barn!
Oh yeah, the wind even joined us to blow Maddy’s hair perfectly.
I just love how this vine was intertwined.
Of course there needed to be a cowboy boot shot 🙂
I can’t wait until next September for their wedding! Steve will have to pull those modeling skills out again 🙂
