Let me start by saying that Kristina is my sister so I’m biased on how cute these two are together. But they are freakin’ adorable! Phil proposed in March and I’ve been excited ever since to shoot their Pittsburgh engagement session. I flew home to Pittsburgh last week so that we could go into the city and take pictures at some of their favorite spots.
Phil proposed to Kristina at Point State Park so we went there first. Plus it’s a great spot because you can get the stadiums, bridges and fountain in the background.
I mean they totally killed it from the beginning.
The Three Rivers Queen from the Gateway Clipper Fleet even made an appearance on the river… I obviously planned that. Plus there were two little ducks that followed us around while we were near the river. Do you see them between Kristina and Phil?
The Point Fountain was actually on! I love this shot and how her dress is even blowing.
I have lots of favorites from this engagement session, but the one on the right might be my most favorite of them all.
We started walking back to the car and they were just perfect.
Love this shot with the city and the American flag.
I decided to go a little artsy with their reflection and the fountain and I ended up really liking this shot.
Kristina and Phil have known each other since she was in high school and then they started dating when she went to Pitt and he was going to Pitt Johnstown. So as hard as it was to go on to Pitt’s campus as a Penn State alumni, I did it for the pictures. hahaha 🙂
I love how they laugh and look at each other.
Oh this is another one of my favorites! I’m not sure if I like this one or the one by the fountain better. They’re both so good!
I loved how the line of trees framed them in these pictures.
These flowers were just so pretty that they had to get a picture with them.
Oh no the Pitt shirts came out 😉 Good thing the two of them are so cute together.
It was the first week of classes at Pitt and so they had this up. It was too perfect not to take picture.
I really loved the Carnegie Library’s stairs.
I ❤️ old doors.
We finished the session by going to Schenley Park and quickly taking some picture before the light left.
I love her ring and her! I could take pictures of them all day, every day!
Work it Phil! And the two of them goofing on the right is probably their natural state. They are so comfortable with each other and are always doing something to make each other laugh or cuddle into each other.
I might have to steal Krissy’s shirt next time I’m home. The back is so neat!
I so love this one of the ring and them kissing!
Aw I’m so happy for the two of you! I can’t wait for Phil to officially become a part of the family and be stuck with all of us. I can’t wait for your wedding day! Although I’m a little bummed there can’t be two of me so I can be a bridesmaid and shoot the wedding at the same time. 🙂
