Looking at these pictures now, I still can’t believe that we shot Debbie + Hanson’s Silver Sands engagement session in November. Crazy!
They traveled from Boston and we met in the middle at Walnut Beach in Silver Sands State Park. This place is one of my new favorite places to shoot because there are so many different areas in one little location. And if the location wasn’t enough, Debbie + Hanson are the cutest, most comfortable couple : )
We met at the pier which ended up being the perfect place to start!
I know comfortable is an odd word to use to describe a couple, but do you see what I mean? They’re natural and had a good time just being together.
Hanson said I took a lot of pictures of the ring… I mean he did a great job so why shouldn’t it be showcased!
I had some ideas for this session, but I usually try not to make too many suggestion on what a couple should wear or bring for props because I want them to bring what reflects them. I was pretty excited when Debbie brought a blanket because it was one of the images I had pictured!
After a little bit I didn’t even have to give them too many directions, they were cute and cuddly on their own! I was just there to capture it : )
Oh just stop, Debbie!
The beach was full of so many oyster shells.
See? Another location that doesn’t even look like the beach!
I swear Debbie had read my mind again when she changed into this dress! It was another suggestion I wanted to make because I knew a flowy maxi dress would be beautiful on a windy beach!
We went back to the pier because the light was just perfect!
How about that breeze? I couldn’t have planned it any better!
And then Debbie went barefoot… in November!
My favorite!!!
Debbie asked if she could twirl… yes please!
You know you’ve got a good guy when he’ll voluntarily carry your shoes, purse or coat.
What a way to end this session! The super moon was out and it was stunning with that pastel sky!
