Ben and I were already planning a little trip to Maine to visit a couple of different places and to hopefully see our friends Kerry + Kyle. And then I received a text from Kerry wondering if we could get together at some point somewhere and she sent it with a picture of her bump!

It worked out so perfectly and Kerry already had the idea that she wanted to do a Fort Gorges maternity session. They actually thought about having their wedding here, but it’s only accessible by boat (I was very excited about the boat ride 🙂 ) and the terrain is a little rough.

So they may have not had their wedding here, but I’m glad we could do their maternity session here.

Ben and I are friends with Kerry from Penn State. She was a photography major too so you know there was no pressure with this session 😉 But seriously we had such a good time exploring and catching up with each other!

I call these the epic shots 🙂

We climbed all the way to the top for some pretty awesome views.

I asked them how they felt about having a baby girl and I got the picture on the left! haha Kerry has always been so fun and expressive, it makes me so happy that she got husband just like her!

And one more quick shot by the water. We had to get going because the tide was going out and we had to jump down the sea wall into the boat. Thank goodness Kyle knows a lot about boats, sailing and the water. If I had been charge of that part we would have been stranded at the fort for the night.

Congratulations Kerry + Kyle! I can’t wait to meet your baby girl!
