You may remember Katie + Jay from their engagement session that was on the blog last week. Well after we took a couple of pictures with the family that was at the house we headed over to New Rochelle for Katie’s shower at her sister’s house.

When I pulled up to her sister’s house I knew I was at the right house because her sister had put her wedding dress out that she wore years ago.

Katie had chose the colors pink and green for her shower and her sister did a wonderful job decorating with them.

Her sister has a machine that lets you monogram different things… it would be so dangerous for me!

I love when the gifts are all decorated so colorfully!

There were two puppies there 🙂 LuLu on the left had just been rescued so she was a little shy. Twila had also been rescued but she wanted to be the center of attention.

Katie was excited that Rose going to be there, she set Katie and Jay up!

After attending and planning a good amount of showers I really appreciate when there’s a good group that handles the presents efficiently. These women were on top of it!

Katie is one of the happiest brides I’ve met. I loved capturing her excitement as she opened each gift.

I love this pillow that she received… I think I’m going to have to try to find one for our apartment 🙂
