This past summer was extra special for me as a photographer and aunt — I had the absolute joy of photographing my niece’s senior pictures throughout the summer in Montgomery County, PA. I’ve known Anna since her 1st birthday, when I met Ben’s family at her party. Once Ben and I got married she officially became my model and guinea pig for my photography.
We’ve talked about her senior pictures for years and all the potential options. Instead of doing one long session, we decided to spread out her senior pictures over the summer. We were able to get so many different backgrounds and looks. Plus our family went to Outer Banks last summer so we took pictures at the beach!
We went to a couple of places in Montgomery County, PA for her senior pictures.
I feel like these two pictures right here represent what we were going for, traditional senior portraits and her fun personality. 🙂
Loved this part of the park and the architecture!
One of my favorites! The architecture, her in the middle of the arch, and the reflection in the water – perfection!
Isn’t she stunning!? 🙂
Anna loves butterflies so we were on the search for them at the park.
On another day we went to my favorite little farm where they have flower fields for you to cut flowers. Or take pictures in our case.
The Zinnia flower field is my favorite and Anna had the perfect glittery purple dress for it.
Anna loves to read and I could just picture her in the flower fields reading for a couple of shots.
Ben’s family goes on a big family trip to Outer Banks every other year and it landed on the perfect year for Anna’s senior pictures. We rent a huge house that we all stay in and it just so happened to be on the beach with the most perfect walkway over the sand dunes.
She has the perfect shade of strawberry-blonde hair, with those blue eyes, and her beautiful big smile. Am I allowed to be jealous of how gorgeous my niece is?
And then we headed to the beach where the water was the perfect blue.
Another butterfly!
Anna has such a great knack at finding the perfect dresses for her.
These pictures of her in the water are the ones that we had talked about for 2 years since the last time we were at the beach.
Just stunning!!
Anna, I can’t believe that these pictures are actually done and I’m posting them. I don’t know how you’re already a senior and that the year is almost over! You are such a smart, talented, beautiful girl (It feels weird to say woman.) and I am so proud to be your aunt and to be the one who captured these pictures. I hope you had as much fun taking them as I had photographing them. Next up, Penn State!! Congratulations!
