Part of Spark’s Ignite workshop included a styled shoot organized by Mekina Saylor at Jessica Oh‘s farm house in the Poconos. Between the two days of workshops we had four couples that volunteered to be models for for the attendees. We even had Effie, Jess’s pet duck, make a special appearance as a model on the second day!
We had a very snowy, cold day for the Saturday workshop.
I am so in love with this!
Our mock ceremony set up : )
Kerry Patel Designs did such a gorgeous job with the florals!
How cute is the little wreath boutonniere?
The new Beauty and Beast had just come out in the theaters and this dress reminded me of a Belle dress.
I felt so bad for the models freezing in the snow, but it made the portraits look so magical! (Check out the behind the scenes from the styled shoot and all of us photographers all bundled up because it was so cold!)
The barn matched the dress perfectly!
Doesn’t she look like a Disney Princess?
Such stunning rings that L Priori Jewelry let us borrow!
Mekina put together such a cute little breakfast styled shoot! It was just a shame to see those donuts go to waste!
Such a simple, but great way to display fruit for brunch or even a shower.
Mekina built the styled shoot all around this gold antique jewelry box that was her mother’s.
Just love this bouquet by Kerry Patel Designs and the Honey Silks & Co. ribbon around the bouquet is so pretty.
My gosh I could use Beyond the Barn Rentals‘ farm tables as a background for everything! And how simple, but cute is the invitation suite by Bella Carta Boutique?
The snow stopped and we had bright sun for the attendees of Sunday’s workshop.
The ladies of Spark have taught me a new feature on my camera, double exposure. I’m still playing with it and learning to use it, but I’m liking how it looks.
Oh these two!
Nancy Caroline Bridal Styling did such an amazing job on the ladies’ hair and makeup.
Jess is so great at getting couples to feel relaxed and even goof off. It makes for such fun and natural portraits!
Love me a flowy tulle dress!
Hahaha!
Sprinkle donuts are my favorite!
Coffee cheers!
And then Jess brought Effie out and suddenly no one cared about taking any other pictures except of her.
Love this one!
Effie is such a good little duck.
I just love the old wood bench/stone barn combination.
Always need some classic groom shots, especially with style like his!
And finally we’ll end with my name tag by Penned by Alice because I’ve never seen my name written so pretty before!
