I love where I live because within an hour radius of Westchester County there are so many different places to shoot: New York City, the beach, botanical gardens, golf courses, woods and mountains. I second shot with Mekina Saylor last summer in the “mountains” of New Jersey for this Mineral Resort and Spa wedding.

You’ll notice that the Bride and Groom incorporated lavender and light purple all throughout their wedding day.

How cute is this little wooden ring box?

As the second shooter I spend most of my time with Groom.

The Bride and Groom have two cats so the Bride made these cufflinks for her groom.

The Groom carried these two little photos in his jacket pocket. Such a nice way to remember those who couldn’t be at the wedding.

I love when couples do first looks!

First looks are really such a special moment.

The Bride and Groom also took a moment to read special vows that they wrote for each other.

Mineral Resort and Spa has so many lush green areas in the summer for portraits!

We were even allowed on the golf course for some beautiful portraits.

The florals were all so pretty in the light purple.

Just like the rest of the day, the reception was full of cute details as well.

Loved these little honey favors that were also the place cards.

Their cats made an appearance on the cake topper too.

Daddy-daughter dances always make me tear up just a little.

The Bride’s grandfather had a special dance too.

It was a fun night on the dance floor!

I love shooting with Mekina! We always have the best time together and work so well as a team! (Mekina needed some shade here and her skirt worked just fine.)
