Patriot Hills Golf Club Wedding | Kelly + Anthony Hudson Valley, New York

Kelly met Anthony through her brother, Sean, because they were actually roommates in college. Kelly was excited to meet a friend of her brother’s who was cute. And when Kelly decided to move down to North Carolina after school, Anthony welcomed her with open arms and helped her adjust to the new city.

As I walked into Kelly’s parents’ house the girls were all bustling around. They had their hair and makeup done and were ready to start the day!

I loved these monogramed backpacks that Kelly got each of her bridesmaids. As Kelly said, “They monogram everything in the south!”

Kelly’s parents’ living room was the perfect place with plenty of space and beautiful light for Kelly to get ready.

While I was with the ladies, my second shooter, Robert, was with Andthony and the guys as they got ready for the big day.

We headed over to the Orange County Arboretum for Kelly + Anthony’s first look and some portraits.

Robert did a great job getting Anthony’s reaction to his bride. Anthony couldn’t take his eyes off of Kelly and pointed out all her details.

I’ve shot in Orange County Arboretum in the summer, but it’s so pretty in the fall with the leaves changing. Plus look at these two! I was so happy they did a first look so we could get these shots before the ceremony.

The plum on the bridesmaids and gray suits for the guys looked so beautiful in this garden.

The backs on all of the dresses were gorgeous!

I love a simple, but classic invitation suite.

Seriously little kiddos at weddings are my favorite! You never know what they’re going to do, but either way they’re adorable!

I don’t thing Kelly’s dad even saw it while they were walking down the aisle, but how sweet is this aisle runner.

I know this isn’t a perfect picture, but I love how the bubbles are overlapping with all of the colors in this picture.

After Kelly + Anthony’s ceremony we headed over to Patriot Hills Golf Club for some more portraits and then of course their reception.

Let me tell you, I would shoot a Patriot Hills Golf Club wedding all of the time! It is such a beautiful golf course with these beautiful spots that look like you’re in the middle of a field with tall grass. Plus the deer had already stamped down the grass in the perfect spots for us.

I know I post photos like this one a lot, but I just love them so much because I think our hands tell so much about us over time. One day their grandchildren will look at this picture and see how much their grandparents’ hands have changed and how much life they went through together.

Oh Kelly you are just so beautiful! And your Hayley Paige dress was so perfect for you! This may be one of my new favorite bridal portraits.

Anthony had to get a picture of his beautiful bride too!

We took a golf cart up to the top of the hill on the course and discovered this beautiful view of the Hudson River.

Kelly + Anthony hadn’t seen too much of each other the week before their wedding since they were each staying with their parents in New York so they were all snuggly during portraits. I loved it!

That’s a yay for being married and for finishing portraits!

Kelly + Anthony worked so many plum, gold and ivory details into their Patriot Hills Golf Course wedding reception.

I loved these centerpieces in the mercury glass vases. So pretty!
