Although it was chilly, Holly + Hunter had a beautiful wedding day this past weekend. The sun was out, the autumn leaves were at their brightest, their family and friends were all together and the love and excitement between the two of them was obvious.
Such a cute invitation!
Holly and her bridesmaids actually got ready at Hunter’s parent’s home. It was the perfect setting for Holly to get ready.
Holly’s sister helped her get into her dress.
Loved Holly’s dress, especially the buttons down her back!
And Holly’s mom helped her pick out her jewelry.
Oh Holly, you’re stunning!
Once Holly was dressed she read a letter from Hunter.
Look at that bling!
Hunter got ready at their apartment.
Hunter got all the groomsmen awesome socks.
Holly also wrote Hunter a letter that he read once he was dressed.
Holly hid and all the groomsmen went back to Hunter’s parent’s house to take some pictures around their adorable little house. (Ben and I were crushing on their house.)
Once Hunter left, Holly came out of hiding for a couple of pictures.
Such pretty bridesmaids and flowers!
Then we headed over to St. Andrews to get Holly + Hunter hitched : )
Madeline, the flower girl, was adorable!
Here comes the bride!
I caught Hunter checking out his soon-to-be wife : )
Madeline didn’t want to miss out on her uncle getting married.
Madeline started picking up her flower petals during the ceremony – told you she was adorable.
Married!
Like I said, it was a chilly day, but their friends and family stood outside for a bubble exit.
On the way to the reception Holly + Hunter arranged for the bridal party to stop traffic so we could take a couple of pictures.
It was so worth their effort for this picture!
Once we arrived at The Sedgewood Club we took some pictures around the grounds.
I can’t say thank you to Holly + Hunter enough for sticking with me out in the cold for these pictures. Especially Holly, she put on Hunter’s jacket in between shots and we worked fast, but she was freezing.
The Sedgewood Club overlooked the water and the beautiful changing leaves.
We went into the woods a little bit for more shots with the beautiful leaves.
Love how happy they are!
A couple more bridal portraits because Holly is just so pretty.
Hunter had his suit custom made definitely pulled it off.
Madeline liked the beading on Holly’s dress.
Holly + Hunter worked hard on all their little details and everything looked perfect!
Love this idea for a guest book!
Hunter drives a yellow Jeep that he loves and kept teasing Holly that they should have a little Jeep going up the side of their wedding cake. Since Holly is awesome and loves Hunter she surprised him with a replica of his Jeep climbing up the side of their wedding cake. Isn’t it great?!?
Hunter was just a little excited about the cake.
I’ve never seen a menu printed out on a brown paper bag, such a neat idea!
The new Mr. & Mrs. Young!
They had their first dance,
Holly danced with her father,
Hunter danced with his mom…
And then Hunter and his mom really started to dance!
Very few people new about their dance and Holly was definitely surprised.
They did a great job!
Holly + Hunter met at a bar where The Wild Ones were playing. So it only made sense that The Wild Ones played at their reception.
The Wild Ones kept the party going all night, they were really great!
Ben helped me out that day and got this great shot.
To end the night Holly + Hunter sent off a lantern with some help from their friends.
Congratulations Holly + Hunter! Ben and I had such a great time shooting your wedding. We love seeing couples that are just as excited to get married as were when we got married. Marriage is great, you’re going to love it!
