It’s been such a busy year that I’m just starting to catch up on posting some of my favorite weddings that I’ve second shot for other photographers. (Second shooting is when I help shoot a wedding for another photographer. It’s just like when I have a photographer help me shoot a wedding. Then I’m the main photographer and they’re the second shooter.) I helped Ashley Mac shoot this Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury Wedding.
As a second shooter I go with the groom and his groomsmen as they get ready for the big day.
The Groom wore his grandfather’s cufflinks which I believe were also the Groom’s initials.
I loved that the Groom wanted a shot with his dog 🙂
When you’re with the groom you usually arrive to the church before the bride. So we made the most of the time and took some portraits at the church.
Here comes the bride!
Married!
After the church ceremony we traveled to Shadowbrook at Shrewsbury for the reception.
I love the bow on the front of the dress with the lace overlay!
The light with this tree behind the Bride + Groom was just perfect.
There’s a rose garden in the back of Shadowbrook where they hold ceremonies, but that’s also perfect for portraits.
Cheers to getting all the pictures done!
Time to party at the reception!
Ashley took the Bride + Groom out right at sunset so we could get some more pictures at the front of Shadowbrook.
Time to party! And this was a good group of dancers! The more fun the dancing the more fun the pictures!
I always love shooting with Ashley! I feel like we have a very similar approach to wedding days which makes it so easy to second shoot for her. Make sure to check out her work over at Ashely Mac Photography.
