November’s Goals

November 7, 2017

I finished shooting weddings in October! Woo hoo! Not only did I shoot weddings, I shot family and engagement sessions and I had a headshot swap with the ladies from Spark. I like to reward myself after shoots so I had lots of Pumpkin Spice Lattes (I had my first one this year and I’m obsessed!) and Pumpkin Bread from Starbucks, plus Ben and I even stopped at Shake Shack after he helped me with a family session. For Halloween I carved a pumpkin Mickey in honor of our upcoming trip to Disney! Eeee! More on that down below!

Even though I’m done shooting weddings, there is still a lot of work to be done in the office. Here’s what I’m planning for November’s goals:

Business Goals:

  • I’m trying to deliver all of the images that I took in October. I feel like I’m always talking about how many images I have, but it’s true and I don’t like holding on to them too long. I know no one wants to wait for their pictures so I try to deliver them as quickly as possible.
  • I have a fun little styled shoot coming up this week! I almost have everything together and I’m really excited for it!
  • I like to go through all of the images from when I second shoot for other photographers. It helps me see what I can do better when I second shoot and I like to edit my favorites. I haven’t been able to go through the last couple weddings I second shot so that’s on my list to do. Like I said, there’s still a lot of work to be done in the office.

Personal Goals:

  • The holidays are coming! Crazy! I need to start planning my gifts for people and start buying. Normally I’m really excited for this, but right now I’m feeling a little… overwhelmed? disinterested? I’m sure once I get some ideas I’ll enjoy it. I am excited to make some sugar cookies though!
  • Now that I’m done shooting weddings, I’m going from just managing my health to actually trying to make some progress. I have a lot of neck problems/pain so I’ve started going back to physical therapy and some other doctors to hopefully find some relief and get ready for wedding season again.
  • We’re going to Disney! Woo hoo! It’s not really a goal, I’m just excited! I wanted to go for my 30th birthday, but it was just too hot in July and I wanted to spend my birthday with my family. So instead we’re going to the Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom! Disney and Christmas together!! Ahh!

Happy November! Follow my Instagram stories to see my adventures in Disney!
