In past years it’s been snowing during my niece’s, Katelyn’s, birthday so we’ve done her portraits inside. But this year with the really nice weather it was 55 degrees. So we headed to a nearby park for a couple of pictures of her as a 7 year old.

There was a barn in the park with the perfect height window seal for peeking in.

I happened to see Katelyn’s silhouette on a nearby wall while I was taking another picture.

I asked Katelyn to give me a couple of her own poses; she’s quite the model : )

At one point I thought I was done taking pictures and then Katelyn said that she wished we could take more pictures… well I wasn’t going to say no to more pictures : )

She’s 7!

I still can’t believe that she’s 7! I keep telling her to stop getting older, but she tells me that she can’t help it ; )
