Ben and I were one of the last ones to arrive to the family vacation in Long Boat Key, Florida last Saturday. We normally go around to all the units of the time share and say hello to the extended family but my parents kind of shuffled us up to their unit. When we opened the door there was Maddy with a smirk on her face and then she stuck out her hand…. I squealed and jumped and squealed some more 🙂 We’ve all been waiting for Maddy and Steve to get engaged, but it’s still hard to believe!

Of course we had to take a couple of engagement pictures while we were at the beach 🙂

Maddy wanted a ring with detail and Steve definitely delivered, the ring is beautiful!

I wish I could shoot on the beach all the time, it’s a little warm but the light and scenery are wonderful!

Steve has basically integrated himself into the family. Even our family dog, Sophie, likes him the best!

Maddy will probably kill me for this, but I wanted to show a close up shot of Maddy’s makeup since it was so beautifully done our little sister, Kristina.
