I love when families want to take portraits because life just flies by and families change so quickly. Additions are made to immediate families, babies turn into kids then teenagers and other family members are unfortunately are no longer with us.

The Puttagunta family took family portraits a couple of years ago when the kids were babies and since they were all together again (they’re located in Connecticut, Michigan and Germany) they thought it was time for another group picture.

I like to make sure to get pictures of just parents too because let’s be honest, how often do they get pictures of just themselves.

Chandana works with Ben at Regeneron. I’ve met her and her husband a couple of times at Christmas parties, but it was nice to meet their little boy too.

I recommend families trying to get portraits done once a year, especially when those kiddos are little (they change so quickly). I know once a year can seem like a lot, but believe me, one day you’ll be glad to have all those pictures of your family. I know my sisters and I love looking back our our family’s pictures.
