Mantoloking Wedding

December 5, 2017

I love any wedding that’s by the water. There’s something about the water that automatically makes it feel summery and romantic. I helped Jessa from Love and Light Photographs shoot this beautiful nautical Mantoloking wedding last summer.

Grooms have no idea of the team that helps a bride get ready for the wedding day.

Such cute customized cups from the rehearsal dinner.

I loved the gift bag of goodies that the Bride gave to her bridesmaids as a thank you. I mean I like anything that has an anchor on it 🙂

Pretty girls! And I love matching robes!

The Groom got ready in a different beach house just right down the road. These little boutonnieres were so cute!

Everything was literally within walking distance that day… I walked with the groomsmen to the church.

The groomsmen were looking good.

Matching socks for the groomsmen area always a good idea.

St. Simon by the Sea is such a cute little beach church.

You know it’s a beach wedding when guests ride their bikes to the church.

Married!

Ringing the church bell!

And then the guests walked to Mantoloking Yacht Club while the Bride and Groom came by boat.

The watercolor signs were such pretty a pretty touch to the reception.

As you can see I really liked all the nautical decorations at the reception. They were simple, but pretty and made a big impact.

These flags were already hanging in the yacht club, but they were a great addition.

While everyone was eating Jessa and I snuck out to the dock to get some portraits on the dock with the Bride and Groom. Pay attention to the sun in these pictures, its amazing how quickly the sky changed in the couple minutes we were shooting these portraits.

I don’t know why, but I liked that boat name. haha

The flowers in this bouquet did a really good job at holding up all day.

There goes the sky changing.

Instead of tossing her bouquet, the Bride gave her bouquet to her mom because it was her mom and dad’s anniversary as well.

This group cut loose after dinner and had a great night on the dance floor.

There was a little bench in front of the band that became a stage for everyone to dance on.

Thanks Jessa for asking me to second shoot this wedding with you! I thoroughly enjoyed shooting this Mantoloking wedding by the water!
