I had the privilege of shooting Jaclyn & Brennan’s wedding this past Saturday. I was so excited for this wedding not only because it meant I got to go home but because I love Jaclyn! We used to work together and would talk about when she would get married one day but she always made it sound so far in the future. Well this past weekend she got hitched to her high school sweet heart Brennan!
Jaclyn’s dress was beautiful, I loved all of the detail…especially those three little buttons.
Jaclyn & Brennan’s colors were malibu-blue, pink and white which were perfect for a summer wedding!
I was really impressed with the groom & groomsmen. I was running a little late (I somehow managed to get lost in the little town of Weirton) and they quickly lined up for me and we got all their pictures done quickly…with time to spare!
I’m not sure whose expression I like more when a bride walks down the aisle, the bride or the groom’s. Brennan remained calm and waited for his bride to get closer before he looked up at her and Jaclyn just couldn’t hide her excitement/nerves. So cute!
The church had so much wonderful light for beautiful pictures!
Mr. & Mrs. Bish!
Three generations!
The Bish’s were married at St. Joseph the Worker Parish in Weirton.
Jaclyn asked before hand if she thought we’d have enough time to drive 45 minutes out to her uncle’s house for pictures. I was a little iffy at first but since she had built the time into the day’s schedule it worked out perfectly. And somehow we managed to get ahead of schedule so we had extra time for portraits!
Aren’t they just too cute!
I loved her bouquet! (Surprise, surprise since it had pink in it!)
Isn’t Jaclyn just adorable! I just want to put her in my pocket she’s so cute!
The reception was at the The Serbian American Cultural Center in Weirton and it was so neat to see how the room was transformed with all the lighting by A Cut Above and all the flower arrangements!
The cake was absolutely stunning!
Guests were provided with little bags to take home some goodies from the cookie and candy tables.
Woo hoo! It’s party time!
The DJ, Jonathan Mihellis, did a wonderful job keeping the party going.
For the removal of the garter the DJ had the guests create a tunnel with Jaclyn at one end and Brennan at the other end.
Brennan had to dance down the tunnel to remove Jaclyn’s garter. But if Jaclyn didn’t approve of Brennan’s dance moves she could send him back to try again. She sent him back once and the second time down Brennan had the help of his groomsmen. I’ve never seen anything like this at a wedding but I really like the idea!
Isn’t the room so festive?
