Ben and I cut our Christmas tour around Pennsylvania a little early for this engagement session and I’m so glad we did! Casey + Billy and their adorable black lab, Dudley, are the cutest together! They drove all the way from Arizona to see their family for the holidays and plan their New York wedding, since they’re both originally from this area. We met up for a little bit to take some pictures with Dudley in Van Cortlandt Park and then we headed over to the Bronx Zoo for some pictures of just the two of them.

Dudley is one year old and hasn’t been back in New York since he was a puppy. He was very excited to explore!

Casey wanted to do a picture with their hands and Dudley’s paw together, I love it!

Once Dudley was kind of over the pictures we went to the Bronx Zoo. I’d never been, but Casey grew up going to the Bronx Zoo she knew where all the good spots were 🙂

Casey + Billy visit a zoo whenever they’re in a new state, so it was kind of fitting that they have some of their engagement pictures in a zoo!

This is one of my favorites!

We managed to find some green in the middle of winter!

Billy did a good job with Casey’s ring! She wanted blue on her engagement and he paired it perfectly with diamonds…. but you really can’t go wrong with diamonds 🙂

I faced my fear once again and went into the Sea Bird Aviary for the penguins. (I’ll do just about anything for a picture!)
