I’m pretty sure I spent more time away in August then I did at home. My Penn State girls all got together for a weekend in Lancaster which was so good. Plus I got to see Lucy at the end of the weekend. We went on Ben’s family vacation to the Outer Banks which was so relaxing and now I have a nice tan. We also got to see my cousins and their 5 kids while we were in the Outer Banks. Then I flew home to Pittsburgh to shoot my sister’s engagement session, be with my Momma on her birthday and of course see my friend, Chelsy, and her two little red heads, Elle and Cece.

It’ll definitely be nice to be home in September. I’m keeping my September’s goals minimal since I’ll be busy catching up from being away most of August and keeping up with all the shooting I’ll be doing all month long.

Business Goals:

• I’m excited, I’m shooting three weddings this month! It’s going to be busy, but fun!
• I never got to update my new website last month with keywords for SEO. It has to happen this month.
• I have the rest of this week and next week until I have 6 straight weeks of shooting weddings so I have a lot of little stuff I want to finish before then that will make my life easier. I hate when I have all kinds of little things hanging over my head.

Personal Goals:

• My plants are coming to an end which makes me sad. I still have a lot of tomatoes coming which means lots of bruschetta for lunch!
• I really tried to limit the number of pictures I took in August, but since we went on vacation and I visited family the pictures got out of control. I really hope I can at least find the time to cull them down in September.
• I get to stay home most of September, but it’s going to busy with shooting. We do have some fun stuff planned like going to the Penn State vs. Pitt game in Happy Valley, sailing with friends and a baby shower.
