2014 marked the year that I officially went full-time with photography. People asked what I would do with all of my time and I responded with my long list of goals and what I thought would fill my time to try and hide the fact that I didn’t have a clue. But I’ve found out that it’s ok not to have an exact plan and to sometimes make it up as you go because a lot of good surprises can come along the way. New clients can contact you and soon become friends, best friends and sister-in-laws can have babies, sisters can become engaged and a random email to one photographer can lead to a whole group of new photographers you can call friends.

So in honor of all the great surprises that came out of 2014, I want to share some of my favorite moments I captured from those surprises. Looking forward to 2015’s surprises and not having a clue as to what will happen!
