I include engagement sessions in all my wedding collections because it’s a great way for me to get to know my couples. Plus it gets them comfortable in front of my camera so that on their wedding day they know what to expect and can relax. This past year’s engagement sessions were fun and I loved seeing how each couple personalized their session.
Even though the cherry blossoms bloomed early and were only around for a short time I was able to capture a few of them during Katie + Paul’s session in Central Park.
Favorite 2016 ring shot!
Walking through Central Park taking pictures of a beautiful couple in love is one of my favorite things to do.
This past year one of my dreams came true when I shot Michelle + Campbell’s engagement session on their sailboat.
They even brought champagne and dressed up in a suit and sequined dress.
I love getting shots of each person individually because I know how much I appreciate shots of just Ben. I have one of him framed on my desk and he has one of me framed on his desk.
That dress!
How cute is this balloon one of my couples brought to their session?!?
We shot Janelle + Tyler’s session on the beautiful campus at Janelle’s work.
Janelle + Tyler were fun to shoot because they seem like they always have a good time as long as they’re with each other.
We also went to Tarrytown to take some pictures along the Hudson River since Tyler loves water.
Debbie + Hanson traveled from out of town so that we could shoot on a beach in Connecticut.
I could have shot these two all day long… unfortunately the sun set. But I still have their wedding!
