Friday’s Finds

September 19, 2014

Alright it’s time for another installment of Friday’s Finds! I didn’t plan on it, but somehow most of my finds turned out pink 🙂 Imagine that!

  1. Avex Water Bottle: I have been searching for a new water bottle since I broke my last one that I had for years. I was kind of picky about it. I of course wanted it to be pink, I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t leak (bad experiences with that in the past) and it needed to be durable (I’m not easy on my water bottles). Welp, this met all the requirements plus it’s handle serves as a clip (awesome for shooting or going to the beach) and not only is there a cap to cover the spout but you have to push in a button for water to come out. Here’s to no spilling in my purse! There are two downfalls to this water bottle: it doesn’t fit in a cup holder and sometimes when you push in the button to drink the water that was left in the spout will spray you… I just have to remember to put it to my lips first so I don’t spray my face 🙂
  2. Güd Shampoo & Conditioner: I have two Burt’s Bees’ products for you… I just love how moisturizing their stuff is! Their Güd shampoo gives me the best hair days and their Red Ruby Groovy smells wonderful.
  3. Burt’s Bees’ Tinted Lip Balm: It seems like tinted lip balm is really in right now… or I’m just learning about it. Anyway, I love Burt’s Bees’ because it gives your lips just a little color and since it’s made by Burt’s Bees it still moisturizes my lips and doesn’t dry them out.
  4. Sheer Love Mist: My mom is allergic to scents so we really weren’t allowed to use perfumes and lotions as kids… if we did then we had to stay in a totally different room then her and she would usually still get a headache. Well I can wear scents since she can’t smell them all the way in PA 🙂 I got Sheer Love in White Cotton and Pink Lily from one of Victoria’s Secret’s monthly giveaways and it’s perfect. It’s not overpowering but has a nice refreshing/sweet smell to it.
  5. All About that Bass: Have you heard this song by Meghan Trainor? Well I play it constantly and then Jimmy Fallon, who I’m a huge fan of, re-did it with the The Roots and her using classroom objects. Enjoy: All About that Bass🙂

Happy weekend-ing!
