Well I said when I started Cassady K Photography that I’d never do one of these. But then my best friend got pregnant and asked for a maternity session and what was I supposed to say?

Chelsy and Jonathan are due to have a little baby girl in August and I cannot wait to meet her… and of course take pictures of her 🙂

Whip is their adorable Wheaten Terrier and he thinks that everything is for him. He’s apparently even been sleeping in the nursery because he thinks it’s for him!

It had been a beautiful day and then as soon as we left the house to take pictures it started to rain… thankfully we found shelter in the hangovers of a church until it cleared up. PS – Rain light is beautiful!

Oh the baby shoes just get me! They’re so tiny!

I didn’t realize how much I loved the bush of flowers until I started editing these pictures.

I may have a thing for churches and their doors.

We took a break in the middle for some pizza… you have to keep pregnant ladies and men fed and happy! Then we went back outside for the sunset and some absolutely beautiful light!

Their house is so cute!

This is my favorite!!! Oh my gosh the light!! Ahhh!!

I just love the light… I still can’t get over it!

Now that I look back on these I’ve realized we really got a lot of locations, but we really didn’t go that far at all.

Their nursery is coral and mint and Chelsy’s outfit was perfect!

They also got little flower shoes at their shower… the field with the daisies were just too perfect.

We stopped back at their house before we were done to get a couple of shots in the nursery. Chelsy and Jonathan plan on naming their little girl Emmanuelle Claire or Eclair for short! So of course we had to save some of the Eclairs from the shower for the shoot.

Sorry I look a little rough in this picture, but it was a hot, humid night. I also want to give a huge thank you to my baby sister, Kristina, for coming with me and helping! Although I’m pretty sure she only came to play with Whip.
