I feel like I haven’t been out of high school for that long. But when I got together with Matt to take his senior pictures, I quickly realized that the 11 years really does make a big difference. I felt like such an old person saying, “Well when I went to high school…”

I always get a little nervous when I photograph guys since I don’t stand or act like a guy… obviously. I never want to make them feel too awkward, but Matt was a natural even with his mom and girlfriend watching.

Like I said, a natural.

Matt actually goes to the same high school that I went to and is in the marching band just like I was. He’s the section leader of the drum line and plays the tenors. After talking to him, it doesn’t sound like too much has changed in the band.
