Emily Rose decided to come into this world a little earlier than her parents expected. She was due in the middle of February, but was born on December 20th, right before Christmas. So while yesterday Emily was 3 months she’s actually measuring at 1 month.

Emily’s parents, Tim & Rebecca, are friends of ours from church. It was so much fun meeting their new little one at her Tarrytown baby girl newborn Session. When I was with Emily I thought that she looked like Rebecca, but as I was editing the images I saw some of Tim coming out in her pictures.

Little baby toes are my favorite! Don’t you just want to kiss them?!?

Look at those big blue eyes and her little smile!

I love the outtakes because let’s be honest, no baby sleeps up all cuddled and perfect all of the time… or even most of the time.

I love how this little flower crown turned out!

Such a cute little family!

We spent the first half of the session trying to keep Emily asleep. Then when we wanted to try and take a family picture we couldn’t seem to wake Emily. We seriously tried everything to wake her.

This was the best Emily could manage haha. She looks like she’s waving and I love it!
