I love sharing my wedding favorites each year! It’s become one of my favorite posts to put together. I just love going back through the weddings and seeing all the joyous and special moments that I was able to capture for my couples. I am so fortunate to have a job that I love where I get to capture one of the best days of people’s lives.
Before we go any further, I do want to say that there were so many good moments and images from the 2016 wedding season. However if I showed every single one you would be scrolling through this blogpost all day long. So I really tried to narrow it down.
Oh there is a certain smile when a bride sees herself as a bride and Meriel had it!
Grooms don’t even understand that it literally takes an army to get their bride ready.
Oh those Jimmy Choo shoes!
Sentimental details just make me swoon.
My second shooter, Kristy, captured this one and I just love it.
Timber peeking at the first look was one of my favorite 2016 moments!
I love how these two images tell the story of Jenny + Adam’s first look!
And first looks allow for moments/pictures like this!
And this!
Oh how I love details!!
Ok if we were doing superlatives, Philip would win for best reaction to seeing his bride.
Oh happy day!
Loved this unique way that Michelle + Campbell included their love of rock climbing and what they did on their first date into their wedding day.
Props to my hubby for shooting out a window while sitting in a bathtub in the upstairs bathroom!
The moment that the bride and groom gets down the aisle and realize they’re finally married is the best!
Well doesn’t she just look like a princess in a castle.
This might just be my favorite wedding portrait from 2016. Ahhh!
Oh cathedral length veils captured my heart this year!
Like I said, cathedral length veils have just capture my heart.
Ewwww kissing!! : )
This bridal party were such troopers and toughed out the freezing temperatures for portraits.
I try to make the bride and groom portraits a time for them to relax and really enjoy the first moments of being married.
Love me some fun bridal parties!
Oh we had some really fun receptions this year!
I didn’t want my husband to shove cake in my face at our wedding, but I’m really excited when my couples do it : )
Love when my friend Ted danced with his 3 month daughter, Lucy. So sweet : )
Night time portraits were a fun way to end the night.
Sparklers are even more fun!
I am so thankful to my 2016 couples that trusted me to capture their wedding days. You’re the best! Now I’m ready for the 2017 wedding season! It’s going to be fun!
