I love assisting other photographers on wedding days because I get to shoot in so many amazing locations and explore NYC. This past spring I assisted Jainé from Brklyn View Photography at a gorgeous Brooklyn Botanical Garden wedding.
The bride got ready at the W Hotel in New York City with beautiful views of the tall financial district buildings.
I want one of these robes for myself!
Every girl should have Chanel perfume.
Such a fun moment when the bride puts on her dress and all of her girls are around to help.
The perfect spot for a first look.
I’m in love with this bouquet.
I love when the wind picks up just enough to lift a cathedral length veil.
There are so many beautiful areas in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden for romantic portraits.
I also love assisting because I have the time to shoot from different angles and be creative.
So the bridesmaids dresses are all the same silhouette, but the straps can be clipped on in a bunch of combinations so fit any body type.
Doesn’t she look like a Disney princess?
I’ve shot a good amount of weddings, but this was my first time shooting a Ketubah signing.
How beautifully dramatic is that entrance?
Happy tears!
Officially husband and wife!
The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens has the most amazing rose garden that we shot the bride + groom’s portraits in after the ceremony.
That detail on the veil!
So happy to be married!
One of my favorites!
A little baby bunny stopped to say hello!
I love ceremony details. Each guest’s place card was a little lantern with a candle so that when they were placed on the correct table they would help serve as the centerpiece and light up the table. Such a good idea!
A little behind the scenes of Jainé doing her thing! She shoots with both film and digital cameras and is really great at paying attention to all the little details. I really love assisting her and learning from her. Her images are so soft and beautiful! Check out her work at brklynview.com.
