It’s hard to believe that January is over. I finally took the Christmas decorations down and kind of hunkered down inside for the whole month. It’s been nice to have a little bit of a routine since we’ve been home the whole month. I’ve been going to the gym twice a week and helping watch our friends’ son, Reece, once a week. I was able to go to the first NYC Spark and go to NJ Spark for Mekina’s birthday celebration.

February is also going to hopefully be pretty low-key like January. Here are February’s goals:

Business Goals:

• I’m making a little bit of a change with my blogging schedule for this month and probably March. Normally I try to blog twice a week and I actually put more time into it then you would think. I’m doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff the next two months so I’m going to go down to blogging once a week so I have time to set up some stuff for the business that will hopefully make wedding season smoother.
• Taxes are this month 🙁 I can’t complain too much though, Ben takes care of most of it. I just have to figure out my mileage and tolls.
• All of my second shooting has been culled from last year! Hallelujah! I’ve started editing the weddings so I’m hoping to finish two of them this month.
• I’ve been doing really well at slowly going through the courses I’ve bought. I’m hoping to finish Katelyn James’ Consistency Course this month and start her Lighting & Location Course.
• I have two sessions this month that I’m excited to shoot and share!

Personal Goals:

• I’ve been going to the gym twice a week and I want to continue that in February!
• I’ve been editing a lot of my personal images and it feel so good! I have a schedule to continue editing them so that hopefully I can get my images edited before I start shooting weddings.
• It’s time to start thinking about what I want to plant in our garden this year! I’m excited to look at seeds and eventually start little plants 🙂
• I’m at home in Pittsburgh for a couple of days! I’ve been enjoying snuggling Sophie 🙂 My mom, sister and I also have some planning to do for my little sister’s wedding shower in June!
• It’s also Ben’s birthday this month and Valentine’s Day so I guess I have some planning for that as well.
