Anna is officially into double digits! My strawberry blonde hair, blue eyed niece is 10! She had a fun glow in the dark party with her friends, but we made sure to go out into the daylight to take a couple of her 10 year old portraits.

It’s hard to tell from these pictures, but she’s getting so tall. I think she might end up being taller than me!

I asked Anna if she knew that she was pretty as I was taking her pictures and she just looked down and shrugged. It made me sad that even with a very supportive family, self doubt starts at such a young age. I made sure to tell her that she is in fact pretty and it’s now my mission to make sure remembers that.

We found some trees with a ton of blossoms so I had to pull the car over.
