I know I say this with all the weddings I post, but I’m really excited to share this one with you! Melissa + John were married this past Saturday with their closest friends and family all around them. They’ve been dating for years and it was so exciting to be able to capture the moment they became Mr. and Mrs. 🙂
Everything was beautiful on Saturday from the weather to the details of the wedding and of course Melissa.
Can I just say that I love the trend of the bride and bridesmaids wearing robes while they get ready? I gave my bridesmaids hot pink robes as their gifts, but it was kind of for a selfish reason… I knew it would make the pictures look awesome.
There are certain moments during a wedding day that make me tear up since getting married, the mother helping her daughter into her wedding dress is one of them.
One of my favorite shots of the day!
The kiddos getting ready too!
Oh Melissa you should be a model!
I hung out with the guys for a little bit before the wedding too… they take a lot less time to get ready 🙂
How adorable are the boys’ shirts?!?
I love this moment!
I love when I catch couples talking during the ceremony… I mean come on most couples haven’t seen each other all day, they’re both looking their best and they finally come together, how do you not talk to each other?
Mr. and Mrs. Howes!
I LOVE this one!
Since it was such a gorgeous day we were able to get some beautiful pictures.
If you haven’t been on the Bronx River Pathway yet you are missing out! It goes from Mount Vernon to Valhalla and is beautiful. I was so excited when Melissa + John mentioned taking some pictures near one of the waterfalls.
I love this one. Wedding days can be busy and a full day but this picture looks so peaceful.
Melissa you are stunning!
Don’t they just look so in love?
Their reception was at the Park 143 Bistro in Bronxville. It was perfect for an intimate reception with everyone they loved.
Selfie witht he Bride and Groom.
I loved their cake topper, I actually had that engraved in Ben’s wedding ring 🙂
Aren’t their champagne glasses the cutest? And the groom’s cake was replica of John’s fireman helmet. I didn’t even know it was a cake at first… I glanced at it and thought they had brought his helmet.
John took the cake in the face like a gentleman.
A good toast should always include some embarrassing stories and lots of laughter.
And then the dancing began!
Melissa + John left their reception for a couple of minutes so that we could get a few more portraits while the sun was setting at the Bronxville train station.
Melissa was so cute calling John “husband” whenever she needed him.
We’ll end on this picture because it’s one of my favorites. Melissa + John, thank you so much for including me in your day. It was so wonderful spending the day with you and capturing your love 🙂 I hope you’re having a wonderful time in San Juan!
